Cooperation: Some managers/team members, ironically in the front end, can be overly demanding without acknowledging other departments' timelines, fostering a dismissive attitude and creating intra-departmental tension. Their poor interpersonal skills contribute to a feeling of hierarchy and discomfort among different teams. Limited Growth: Feels like if you're not on an investment team, the growth and advancement opportunities are a bit scarce. Over time, this can get pretty demotivating, especially for younger professionals looking to climb some sort of corporate ladder. Outdated Operating Systems: Some operating systems and software here are outdated and cumbersome to navigate. Modernizing the technological infrastructure could lead to better efficiency and an improved work experience.
