Workplace safety was a consistent concern during my time on the floor. The store is open to everyone, and aggressive individuals frequently entered the premises, creating uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe situations for employees and customers alike. Security response in these moments was often slow, leaving staff to manage the situation on their own. This was stressful and should be taken more seriously by store leadership.
While my manager was supportive on a personal level, conflict within the team was rarely addressed directly, which sometimes allowed small issues to linger longer than necessary. On the career development side, training was limited to once a year and focused almost exclusively on new product launches and brand information — helpful for product knowledge, but not for building broader professional skills. Employees looking to grow beyond their current role may find the learning opportunities lacking.
