- Poor technical onboarding – no structured training at all - Product documentation was missing or outdated - You’re expected to know a lot without being given the resources - Learning was only possible by trying things out on your own - Management had very high expectations, but didn’t support you enough - Leadership in my team was very controlling at times (micromanagement) I did face challenges related to leadership style and expectations. At times, there was a noticeable lack of trust and too much control over day-to-day work, including how tasks were handled and how communication with customers was done. Feedback could feel overly critical, even in situations where performance was solid and the team dynamic was good. Combined with minimal onboarding and limited documentation, this created unnecessary pressure. There’s a lot of potential at this company, and many people are doing their best – but in my case, the leadership approach unfortunately took away much of the enjoyment from the role.
