The crew supervisors were mostly very smart, good at their job, and great to work for. And the crews were great to work with.

Upper management hardly ever took advice from supervisors. They would call you 2 hours before a shift on your days off and tell you if you didn't come in that you would be fired. They would let equipment fall apart before they would get it fixed which would almost always put the crews in a bind, then get mad when we would fall behind. Treating the employees well was definitely last on the checklist.
