The tech team, the customer team, edit and management all have a shared passion that makes it fun. No one is slacking for or not doing their part. Lots of group brainstorming and product management. Folks are passionate about video and tech.

It's a startup, so there is some stress when there's a bug that impacts customers or a deadline from sales that has a big deliverable. But there's no finger pointing and folks join forces to solve it. Sometimes there's business stress - ie: Board mtg. days, but never anything that impacts the team.

At Waywire, I got the opportunity to be involved in a wide array of tasks that I didn't expect to be apart of at such a young stage in my career. During my training periods, I received tremendous mentor-ship that will benefit my career long-term. The co-workers are very friendly and everyone is willing to help out at a moments notice.

Being a small underfunded company, there often can be a lack of organizational structure. Often times management cannot make up their minds about even simple issues which can cause confusion among lower level managers and their employees. The turnover I've seen here besides myself is extremely high and quick with the average tenure being around 6-10 months.
