Empowered - There is no micromanaging at Mailshake. Everyone is trusted to do their best work and recognized for doing so. When you need support you will find it from every direction and with no judgement. It is the best combination of freedom and support, imho.
Inclusive - I have been at companies try hard to appear inclusive but the culture still stinks of discrimination in the day to day interactions with coworkers and particularly managers. At Mailshake the inclusivity feels completely genuine and shared by everyone in the company. It is not something you are "supposed to do". Mailshake teammates respect each other and it shows.
Focused with clear goals - Mailshake starts with company level goals that flow down to department and individual goals. Expectations are clear and goals encourage everyone to push themselves to grow.
Friendly culture - People at Mailshake are super nice. It makes all the difference to work with people that are happy to be doing good work and will help each other overcome all challenges. With teammates all over the globe, we share pictures of pets and places, articles, and stories. We play virtual group games and acknowledge each other for the little things we do for each other.
Work-life balance - Being a fully remote company (permanently) helps relieve a-lot of the stress involved with traveling to an office especially durning COVID times. Unlimited PTO means you don't have to carefully ration your few days over the year and predict when to use them. With teammates in some many time zones, async communication is key but it also allows everyone to work a schedule that fits their lifestyle.
