The managers at this location have treated me well, you are encouraged to ask managers for assistance with difficult customers. The staff community and environment is the most welcoming and supportive I've seen. Management is fairly relaxed when it comes to things like sitting down, especially as a host where my job is staying in one place for a majority of the night, which has been very helpful as someone who struggles with pain from standing too long.

Some of the staff are very lazy and are often fired for breaking the law, although as long as you use your common sense, you'll be okay. Customers can be mean, dumb, or otherwise nuisances, but that comes with any customer service job. They're usually disorganized, they're often short on staff and it can be hard to get things done sometimes. There are additional unofficial job duties, as a host these include: connecting parties with their staff host and bussing tables, among other things. None of these were outlined upon hiring, but they rarely do not interfere with the typical hosting duties.
