To start, I was catfished with this job. Told it was one thing, that my title would be one thing, after I left my job of 6 years and started- title was a lower position. (I have multiple degrees and years of experience) My direct boss - who had the title I was hired for- literally told me he stole from the company, I reported it to the head of our operation- nothing done. Why? Couldnt bear to lose the work horse, staffing was thin. Pretty sure thats why he got my title. This guy was the worst person I could ever think to be in a leadership position, and I have management experience myself. If I tried to course correct him according to company policies, he would make up a reason for me to do busy work. I was literally in a cast due to an injury with a doctor's note to not use my limb for a week and he forced me to use it. He would badmouth anyone not in the room, and would try to talk down to me constantly. I reported this multiple times, nothing was done. Honestly I think he had an issue whenever he felt his position was threatened, because he even spoke poorly of the head of our office to other offices. I left this in my departure packet, I doubt it was turned in. There is no one watching the watchers. You are alone. If this is a family, the smaller branches are the foster kids trying to claw their way through the system. I stayed long enough for the resume experience and then moved on. The other employees stayed in touch with me and were thankful I was out of that situation. It was the worst working experience I have ever had.
