If there are limited hours available in your department, in many cases, you are given cross-training in a department that is busier so that you can get extra hours. - There are lots of fun competitions across the brand that have amazing prizes, like educational trips to Spain, other properties, and even concerts.

I think that all of the "cons" of working at Malmaison, are simply cons of the industry that you will find working at any hotel chain. Long hours, unpredictable schedules, and emotionally demanding work. If you are a hospitality professional, this kind of comes with the territory.
