Vantaggi
In a time of contractor employees, Q has taken the initiative to break that standard, providing great career paths for both it's cleaning and HQ operators at competitive rates. I've been working at Q since the summer of 2015, and I have to say that this company is filled with some of the brightest minds I've met. Besides that, the employees are genuinely caring and commendable people who put 110% in to every task they do - whether it be for their department, or if they are just helping out a fellow coworker. The company culture is unlike anything I've come across before. I've never woken up at 6 am with a smile on my face because i get to come in to work. When not discussing work, slack is filled with light-hearted conversations and jokes, and all of the employees are very close. To me, this creates a better work environment for everyone. A better work environment produces better quality work. Even though my coworkers and superiors are very nice people, that does not mean they do not demand a certain level of performance, and are not afraid to let you know if you are not performing up to the Q standard. It is a very independent work environment, so if you enjoy that you'll thrive. If not, you may have a hard time adjusting to the way we do things.
Svantaggi
As most of the cons on here said, the work-life balance is a little tough, but that is expected of a start up (for me at least). Especially with our recent expansion to the west coast, I find myself helping out the San Fransisco office late at night, sometimes even around midnight. However, this doesn't bother me because I know i'm depended on. If I don't help my coworkers, then they can't do their job, and the company isn't operating at 100%. Sometimes you need to sacrifice if you want to be a part of something great.
