They "walk the walk" on work/life balance with telecommuting, flex-time, job-sharing and so on. Much of their staff and lower management are enthusiastic, engaged, positive professionals looking to make a real difference.

Upper management is detached from the people they manage. There is a feeling of disconnection between some support areas and the overall mission of the company despite lots of meetings and posters and inexpensive giveaways to try and make it better. Employees are pushed to give more to community causes like United Way with minimal if any increases in pay.
