When MAP bought the company I worked at, they made it seem like they were buying us for who we were. While I expected changes, the sheer volume and scope of what they began to do was terrible. Not to mention that they place no value on communication or change management, so the way changes were implemented was highly disorganized and left employees reeling. They laid off 10% of the corporate staff, they exited four senior leaders with no notice or transition period, they made significant changes to PTO and benefits that will put the most vulnerable employees at risk (ahem, no short- or long-term disability?!). MAP's leadership style harkens back to an earlier day and age where employees should just shut up and be grateful to have a job, and the big bosses control everything with little to no regard for the people who do the actual work. They treat employees as expendable and care only about making money, not being a progressive and desirable employer. And their Employee Stock Ownership Program is a joke, but one they think makes up for all the other ways they are an awful employer,
