Read the tea leaves: The contrast between the saccharine 5 star yarns from recruiters and the 1 and 2 star realities of the people who've been put through the wringer here speaks volumes. Fully expect to have leadership that's unresponsive when you and your team ask for support, then jumps all over you with unrealistic asks and lays blame for situations entirely out of your control (likely exacerbated by their poor leadership decisions in the first place). Many middle managers end up falling in line and kowtowing to senior leadership, to the detriment of the ICs who desperately need their support. Talk to people who have left. They're not hard to find, whether they've ran voluntarily or been pushed out in the post-Unionization effort's mass exodus. Talk to the people who are still around. Newer C-suiters in the last year had the potential to bring real change, but many ended up becoming patsies to Draconian leadership, contributing to a lack of any real change. rm -rf
