Svantaggi

Where do I begin, tuh! This is the most unorganized, disrespectful, and absolute worst company I've ever worked for. They unfortunately acquired PMI and it was all downhill from there. PMI allowed employees to WFH since the start of the pandemic but not Marketcast as they did not support a fully WFH policy. If you were WFH, you automatically had a target on your back for layoffs which happened quite often. They took over in early 2022 and completely wiped out many PMI employees and upper management and shifted many of the remaining PMI employees around to different teams and departments.  After firing many employees in 2022, they then proceeded to hire more people on, even resorting to begging employees during meetings to tell people they know about the company because everyone was so burnt out from being overworked. They lied and said in 2022 that would be the end of layoffs yet proceeded to do rounds of layoffs well into 2023. Any remaining PMI employees who worked from home were let go if they did not live near an office. The goal was to rid the company of any PMI employees, especially remote workers. Played games and announced in 2023 that bonuses would be given but only to certain employees, which were senior level management. People who actually did the work got nothing! Senior leaders are very unprofessional. They forced many employees who did live near an office back to work on a 3-day per week hybrid schedule with the head of customs research threatening employees on a Zoom townhall that they would "see another side of her" if they did not RTO in early 2023. When the 2023 layoffs took place, they claimed it was due to the strike in Hollywood, yet proceeded to hire more executive level VPs and sent many of the operations jobs to India. The firings were also due to plans for AI implementation or "digital transformation." There's even an article online regarding the alleged Hollywood strike layoffs they implemented where they lied and said they laid off 12 people, when in fact it was 50+ at the time. The company culture is crazy and inconsistent, training is nonexistent so you'll be thrown to the wolves yet expected to just know how to do your job and consequences will result if you are not successful. There are no annual reviews given and most of the employees there are scared for their jobs due to sporadic, constant layoffs. Employees are extremely overworked and underpaid, stressed, and burnt out and there is no work life balance. Many employees are working over weekends to meet unrealistic demands and client deadlines senior management committed to. Very unstable company that has either run off or fired many good employees.  I would completely avoid this place unless you are desperate for work until something better comes along. MarketCast does not care about their employees and you will be no different. Very profits over people company.

Vantaggi

You meet pretty interesting people and form a bond with them.

Svantaggi

The plan is to replace everyone with AI sooner rather than later as they have already done so in small bursts. The higher-ups praise the new tech in meetings even though they know it means more layoffs than have already happened. They lie and say that humans are still necessary but go on to introduce a new program that renders departments moot and then another round of mass layoffs happen "out of nowhere."
