Svantaggi
No respect for your area of expertise. Leaders who have no experience in certain areas deciding your job function which strays drastically from what your position and responsibilities should be. Managers afraid to take legitimate concerns and feedback to senior leadership. The culture is do not question leadership. Do what you are told, like it or not. Old school leadership mentality Outsourcing majority of IT. We the internal longtime employees are quickly becoming the minority, constantly in fear of who's next on the chopping block. Employee morale is the lowest I have ever experienced in my career. Workloads are beyond unreasonable and continue to increase. Expanding well into other areas of responsibility that should not be yours. Plea's for help are frowned upon and refused. Senior leaders rule with an iron fist and your voice is heard, but then immediately disregarded. Being forced to come into the office more with the justification being we are better together. You then sit in the office and attend meetings virtually on Teams anyways. People with no experience in the workforce outside of MVW calling the shots and leading teams while refusing to listen to other perspectives from those who have worked in the industry outside of MVW. They know 1 way and that's the stale outdated MVW way. By far the most micromanaged experience of my career. You're hired for your experience and background. Then treated like you have no idea and are forced to do what leadership thinks is correct. Even when it's not. Lots of finger pointing and zero accountability for those above you. No work life balance or mention of it. You will be emailed and sent Teams messages while on PTO, marked as busy, in a meeting or call, nights, weekend and holidays. But then told don't answer or to disconnect when on your own time by those same people who are the offenders. You put in extra time frequently and as needed being a team player. You backfill other roles and responsibilities, having to neglect your own due to understaffing. Yet you are never ever told to knock off early since you put in so much extra time, care and effort. Very few if any compliments or recognition. But someone is always there in wait ready to pounce if you make an error. The amount of time and resources to complete simple tasks is abhorrent. Things keep being made more and more convoluted and difficult to get accomplished. SVP's won't answer emails thus you spend time following up over and over and over. Leadetships advice on this is to then schedule a meeting or call. Even though a written response is required as per company policy and current processes. The emails you do receive from senior leadership are completely impersonal and lacking any thoughtful content. Sometimes few to even no words in response to a very detailed and professional email you have sent. No team building or anything to boost morale and show the employees they are valued and appreciated. All lip service from leadership and never followed by action or any genuine showing of appreciation. Do not ever question what's being asked of you. No matter how misaligned and off base it may be. You're told to speak up and then politely told to shut up when you continue to try and bring awareness to the situation. They just don't want to hear it. I
