-Paid weekly -great co workers - they were not as pushy when it came to selling the credit cards( cause i was not going to do that when they were paying me 7.50 and collecting interest off my sell)

wow, this job really disappointed me. i worked at the location in Bel Air maryland. I worked there for a year loved my job because of the weekly pay, co workers and 10% discount. I honestly did not want to leave because i did not want to get trained for another job when i planned to transfer because of school. I went from working 25 hours a week as a part time associate to 3 to 4 hours a week making a 28 dollar paycheck if times were good. I felt because i wanted advancement within the company the horrible mangers opted out of training me anywhere else. like layaway and cash offf office. theeet

The work is the same every day (at least for janitors), and you don't have many surprises. In my experience, there is a lot of leeway for who does what as long as it gets done. I don't personally mind helping out in all departments after I am done cleaning. Current store manager (not asms) is very nice and understanding.

The management (Assistant managers in my experience) is at each other's throats to be the best out there and suck up to the district manager. The pressure to coerce customers into buying into the TJX card is a bit much. It all trickles down to the front end, which then causes everyone to be unhappy. Compensation is low and raises are based on company loyalty first, then your efficiency.
