None, do not bother here

Svantaggi

My experience working here was deeply disappointing and, at times, genuinely unsettling. I was excited when I was hired, but it quickly became clear that the culture was toxic and the work itself lacked any real substance or strategy. The “marketing analyst” role was not what it was presented to be. Instead of meaningful analysis or thoughtful campaign optimization, it often felt like we were expected to “tinker” with client ads—clicking around, moving settings, and making surface-level changes just to look busy. There was very little strategic direction, and it didn’t feel like clients were truly being served in a thoughtful or professional way. Leadership was another major issue. The CEO frequently communicated in ways that felt unprofessional and inappropriate, including contacting employees outside of work hours in ways that crossed normal workplace boundaries. It created an environment of anxiety and instability rather than trust or respect. The VP in the Charlotte office promoted an extreme and unhealthy view of work. He openly bragged about spending as little time as possible with his family in order to work more, which set a disturbing tone for expectations. The culture rewarded overwork and presence rather than productivity or effectiveness. Meetings dominated the workday. It was common to spend six hours or more in meetings that lacked structure or purpose, only to be left with actual work to complete afterward. The result was long days, constant pressure, and very little meaningful output. It felt inefficient, exhausting, and poorly managed. Although the role was advertised as hybrid, working remotely was subtly discouraged and, at times, felt punished. There was a strong emphasis on being physically present, even when it served no real functional purpose. This made the hybrid promise feel misleading. Overall, this company fostered an environment that was miserable, unprofessional, and misaligned with healthy workplace values. Between the lack of real strategic work, excessive meetings, blurred professional boundaries, and leadership that glorified burnout, it was not a place where growth, respect, or balance were truly supported. I would strongly caution anyone considering employment here to ask very detailed questions about culture, leadership style, and day-to-day expectations before accepting an offer.

Vantaggi

- Small enough that everyone will know your name, but large enough to provide useful platform resources that come with a larger agency - Wonderful coworkers who are great teachers and mentors - Some challenging clients, but overall, awesome client roster ranging from EDU to fashion to beauty and more Mason taught me the skills I needed to grow in my career. I began as an intern curious about the industry and ended up staying for 4 years. Really loved my manager and team.

Svantaggi

- Long days during busy season (Q4), but that’s every role in this industry. - Half of your team may be remote so you may still be on Zoom all day in the office - Fast paced environment (could be viewed as cons for some, but for me it was the challenge I was looking for when I began)

Free snacks and coffee. Office dogs. Nice view of Charlotte. Cool coworkers.

Svantaggi

I had more than enough experience to hire me as a FT assistant analyst. Little experience in analytics, but 8+ years of experience in various useful areas like client relations, content creation, social media management, communications, etc. I switched areas since I got more into analytics. They put me in as an PART TIME INTERN for only $15. Not only was it incredibly insulting, but also very inaccurate for the position’s base pay in the area ($18). I had to take it since I was desperate trying to get my foot in the door. They didn’t even know where to put me: I started off with Paid Search, then Social, then GA4, Paid Media. There was unorganized training that very short and scarce. I asked my coworkers for advice all the time, I tried to train myself, do research, ask for help when I was done with tasks. Yet they FIRED me for “not trying hard enough.” I have screenshots, photos, and videos showing proof of training myself, asking, and constantly getting left in the dark. I have the whole offboarding meeting recorded. Management was inefficient and not vocal about problems. Several employees were burnt out, and I was told several others were fired or quit beforehand. They are constantly hiring which is always a red flag.
