Favouritism used to run rampant at Mast Group. The former Director of Sales created an atmosphere whereby anyone he liked got preferential treatment in almost every aspect. This group of favourite staff would also work alongside one another to get all the work benefits, anyone they did not like would become an outcast instantly with all of their day to day activities being reported to management making their existence at the company the embodiment of a living hell. If you brought this up with management the passive aggressive gaslighting was also at a completely different level. If you want to go to work and be instantly depressed then that is the type of atmosphere you would have wanted to avoid at all costs. There is no diversity at the company and the nepotism there is on a different level. It really is a case of "its not what you know, its who you know", at MAST

Some employees were kind and supportive, amidst an otherwise challenging environment.

Management was disorganized, unprofessional, and frequently made last-minute decisions that left employees scrambling. They were dishonest and consistently avoided taking responsibility for their mistakes, instead placing the blame on junior staff. The toxic environment was worsened by poor communication and a complete lack of training and support, despite repeated requests. My hard work was never acknowledged, while managers were quick to point out even the smallest errors. I found myself constantly facing unrealistic expectations, unclear policies, and a general lack of respect from leadership. This was the worst company I’ve ever worked for, and the mental strain was simply not worth it. Save your sanity and avoid this place.
