Get ready for a challenge, but one you can achieve. Opportunity for advancement and growth of skills are here every day. The company's growth mentality give anyone the opportunity to cross train and take on new challenges. Loyalty and teamwork are valued by management. Training in leadership, job skills, life skills, and industry training seminars are offered and open to any employee in the company. I came into a mid-level position with limited knowledge of the insurance industry, but the can do mentality of the culture gave the the opportunity to grow exponentially. I love my teammates in both the office and field. Meeting and servicing new clients in need with the skills I've acquired have been one of most rewarding experiences of my career.

Be prepared to leave your comfort zone. You will be challenged to do new things and failure is a possibility. When storm season hits, every position in the company is on call and will be asked to take on roles "not in your job description". High commissions and Christmas bonuses are not a part of the company culture. Taking a long vacation during the rainy season isn't likely.
