- The downturn in energy has really killed this organization - Each business unit (Guelph vs. Calgary vs. Swift Current) is managed very differently and the culture is not replicated across the business (ie. some leaders are huge micro-managers); - The first thing that went was the culture and investment in its employees - Keeping track of every 15 minutes is overkill when you are corporate - Letting go of people who love the business - No growth for individuals who are corporate (no money for professional development if you aren't billable)
