Unfortunately, all of the other reviews are true. I wanted to see for myself as you never know with internet reviews, but in hindsight, it is clear the patterns at this company will not be broken. The founder wants every employee to "yes" his every whim and if you do not, you will be released. He micromanages every decision down to the way you capitalize certain words in emails and title calendar appointments. They have such a problem with turnover that they have begun to work with recruiters temp-to-hire, but you will not make it to hire unless you are willing to bow to the CEO's every whim. I was hired to Coordinate Admin, but on day 1, I was told I was also going to function as HR, Recruiting, and Property Management. I was also expected to be an Executive Assistant: answering rambling phone calls throughout the workday; contacting customer support for tech accessories the founder purchased for his dog; relaying messages to other employees about the work they were doing poorly; ETC. I was told I could replace their most senior employee (this employee had only been there for 8 months....) on day 1. All this to say, the CEO sees everyone as replaceable, unintelligent, and lazy. Meanwhile, he is the one who pays people to sit and listen to him monologue about whatever it is he is upset about that day. The Management Team shifts constantly (During my time it was an overseas Team who just functioned as the CEO's puppets). Additionally, I was hired as a hybrid employee but two months in it was demanded that I shifted to fully onsite. I was released when I reminded them of my hybrid employment status, to my own relief.
