You get to learn some great things about what real health is. And...nope. That's it.
Svantaggi
Where to begin...the office I worked at in Indiana was run by 2 doctors that put on a wildly happy face for patients and turned around to give us their disapproval, negative feedback, constant criticism, and overall air of indifference to our hard work. I love living a healthy life. Lift those weights, keep your body healthy, be conscious of what you put in and on your body...but in the handbook it actually said for sick time that you have the tools in the office to stay healthy so you should not really need it. Good. News. They found all the cures. Can you say "jack pot?" Or smile and let the word "fraudulent" run through your head over and over. They intimidate their staff to get patients. They intimidate their patients to continue care. They intimidate their prospects to become patients. And the seminars? You know Jim Jones? If I ever wondered to myself, "I wonder what it would be like to suddenly find yourself inside of a cult", I had to wonder no more. The most successful offices had 1,000 patients (bec success is measured by how many patients you can spend less than 3 min with weekly). They all look and talk and dress exactly the same...it's bizarre. Oh and if you like working 7 days a week from 7-9 moms-Friday and all your weekends being dictated by a job you get paid $11/ hour for, then by golly this is the job for you. Also, no overtime. To be clear: you work overtime but you don't get paid overtime. They get away with it by giving you per patient "bonus" which always ends up being less than overtime rate pay. There's so much more...
