There is a lot to say here: the culture is overall great, the hours are flexible, free weekly lunch is appreciated. Developers work hard, often working on weekends of their own volition - this is not required by the company. The teams work well together and make a constant effort to improve themselves and the development cycles they engage in.

Management needs to realize the actions of today that affect the future. The day-to-day at Maximtrak feels like a messy scramble of tickets trying to be completed for clients who had been promised work previous to any planning being completed. The end result here is that developers are blamed for the ratio of amount of work assigned to work accomplished. The scramble also makes progress extremely slow to accomplish, as addressing errors/issues in the process, addressing technical debt, etc. become low priority when compared to a paying client. There is also no support or encouragement for on-the-job learning. Priorities are out of order, and most developers have one foot out the door.
