Vantaggi
Supportive supervisors, easy to access program guides, decent programs to work with.
Svantaggi
They do not follow their own guidelines. They say, dress business casual. But no one, not even the supervisors dress business casual. You see people in blankets, pajamas, sweats, ripped clothing, club attire. There is no point in having a dress code if no one follows it and you do not enforce it. Sanitation is horrible. It's expected that its not good because it's a floor of over 200 people. However, their ventilation does not work half the time, it broke one day and took several days to fix. The temperature fluctuates from hot to cold on a daily basis. If one person is sick, lots of people are sick. Biggest downside, the supervisors are temps. Yes, you read that correctly. They hired supervisors through temp agency. So you have people who rely on supervisors to help them learn, but the supervisors don't know anything either. The company uses thousands of dollars to run 200+ computers, but they cannot afford tissue. We have to buy our own tissue for our work desk. If you work early around 6-8am and need to use the restroom, you have to hope there is toilet paper and paper towel in the restroom. The janitor does not get there till after 8. My coworker was fired today in a very shady way. They came, told her to logoff the computer, walked her out and that was it. She told me how it all went down and it had me wondering. Do they not have integrity to even tell the person up front they are being let go? Do they not have intregrity to let the person grab their own belongings, instead someone else grabs it and brings it to them as they wait out the door. Such lack of respect for their former employers.
