Expected to be available well outside working hours, people frequently work evenings, weekends, public holidays, etc. Core hours policy not possible to be used as people will book meetings after 5:30 and expect you to be available. Workaholic culture, HR is well aware of it, agree its bad but have taken no actions to address or change this.
