McCarthy prides themselves on being builders, not just managers and it shows through to the high quality work product provided to their clients. 100% employee owned is a plus. It creates a work environment with more accountability. If you work to increase the companies profits, it will be reflected in the stock price, which will increase your retirement.

      Great company culture, exposure to some amazing projects, project teams are fantastic, camaraderie with your team, great resources and onboarding to ensure you learn to do your job well. ESOP and bonuses are great.. if you stick it out long enough.

      Pay is not as competitive as other GC's, you can be relatively underpaid as they rely too heavily on preaching about the ESOP (which takes you 5 years to even be fully vested). Can be very political and leadership kinda plays favorites, some people who dont deserve it get promoted quick and others who do deserve it never get promoted. Long work hours and depending on the jobsite it can be pretty high-stress (but thats just construction for ya).
