- Most of the employees are nice and pleasant to work with in my experience.
- There are opportunities to learn new things in the short term.
- At least for my squad it was very remote-friendly
Svantaggi
(Note: My group was somewhat isolated from the primary company somewhat so my experience may not be representative as a whole)
- C-level folks have somewhat opaque ties to low-pay offshore contractors and were making moves (direct and indirect) to cut ties with both on-shore full-time devs and higher skilled offshore devs from other companies
- (related to above) Generally senior leadership made it clear that employees are viewed as expendable resources and not as a group of people working to build something great.
- Yearly raises are percentage based with a low ceiling. I had the best performance review in my group and I received a ~3% raise when inflation was 8% and I was very underpaid to begin with.
- Tight integration with Microsoft products (including Teams)
