Though leadership can continue to not hold up their timelines or measurables they will hold you accountable to vague KPIs. At times, it feels like there is a stronger focus on cost-saving measures than on investing in employee support or long-term growth. Workload expectations can be high relative to compensation, which may lead to burnout for some team members. There is also a lack of transparency around leadership priorities, making it difficult to understand how decisions are made or how individual contributions tie into broader goals. While it is possible to be successful, opportunities and incentives can feel inconsistent and, at times, influenced by internal dynamics rather than solely performance.

They are responsive, thoughtful, professional, and genuinely care about employees while also supporting the business in a balanced and practical way. What stands out most is their willingness to listen, communicate transparently, and stay engaged during both good times and challenging moments. They don’t just operate as a policy function that they work hard to create connection, solve problems, support leaders, and improve the employee experience overall. The team is approachable, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement. Whether it’s talent development, employee relations, benefits support, onboarding, or leadership coaching, they consistently show up with a positive attitude and a solutions-oriented mindset. No organization is perfect, but this HR team truly cares, works hard, and strives to do the right thing for people and the company.
