High pressure to sell, and horrific install rate (approx. 40%) & Sales staff paid on installs. Salaries for front line sales reps is 25-30% below Bay Area market. Compensation package is actually "fair", however, inability to install sold services result in poor commissions. Majority of Sales department disappointed in the company & leadership but can't express or do express and doesn't matter - job satisfaction incredibly low, job morale low and job security lacking. Many systems issues, specifically home grown quote tool. Huge employee churn across most departments YOY; many are VP Level (i.e., VP's of Inside Sales, Channel Sales, Customer Care, Marketing/Product, Sales Operations, Training). Company has changed overall vision several times in past several years, and sold of 2/3 of assets that were acquired only 4 short years ago. These moves are concerning. These moves were inconsistent w/ the "company message" from beginning of 2012-14. Recent departures, moves & hires (upper mgmt) have been designed to lean out the entire org., and many long term, successful and experiences employees were let go. Big decisions are mad in a vacuum w/ little regard for company culture. Company fails to execute on business plans YOY, hence selling off most assets w/ employee count of approx. 280 vs. 1400+ 6 months ago. The plan? Get rid of debt, people, salary....and sell.
