Vantaggi
Not a challenging role, yet still MANY things to do at once. You won't be bored because you are so busy selling and creating relationships with customers! Fun when you like your coworkers and respect your manager. Okay-ish discount. Aesthetic storefront. Beautiful jewelry!
Svantaggi
1. No commission, no incentives, low pay, EXTREMELY unbalanced salary distribution to retail employees vs. corporate 2. STRICT and inhibiting dress code - ironic how it's a company built on the empowerment of women, yet forces its own employees to adhere to a dress code out of a handbook from the 50's 3. No upward mobility - they genuinely hire externally in every position :/ 4. No reward system in place 5. Force you to sell, sell, sell with literally no incentive but fear of getting in trouble with management 6. Pay is low and impossible to live off of in a big city 7. Literally no stipends 8. Completely disregards all retail employee advice + feedback, discussing only between fellow corporate members who are disillusioned and unattached to the actual reality of the face-to-face members of the company (aka, the backbone of Mejuri brick-and-mortar) 9. Unorganized 10. Lastly, they talk a good game, and I'm sure originally, the message of the company was authentic. Diversity, empowerment, equality, etc. All major powerplay keywords in today's society. Would like to see that actually happen with how they treat their retail employees these days.
