I’ve seen colleagues be treated very badly from senior leaders, colleagues who were really trying their best. Senior managers are untouchable but everyone else is disposable. If concerns or worries are ever raised then you are gaslighted so you learn to keep quiet. Most of the time is spent making sense of the chaos, some managers are unreachable and only appear once everything has gone bad to look like the hero.
