There is absolutely no job security—throughout 2024, they conducted layoffs in multiple waves, each time falsely assuring employees that there would be no more firings. For senior employees, it’s especially challenging to find new opportunities during these tough recessionary times. As for career growth, don’t expect promotions even after spending 3-5 years here unless you’re part of their inner circle of yes-men. This is not a place where talent and dedication are valued—only favoritism thrives. Think twice before joining Mercer.
