As a car lover and someone with a background in auto sales I found this place to be an oasis from horrific car dealerships. Seems like the entire staff has a sales or mechanical background. 40 hour work weeks, pay is fair for the work I am asked to perform, most weekends off, and most major holidays are observed so I think scheduling is great. Company has a great process for training. Different managers will teach you different things and have you well prepared for the job. My main Supervisor Eric Powers and the rest of the managers really work with me to do my job right, work to avoid mistakes, and are truly eager to assist when helpi s needed. Overall staff is great. Everyone is friendly and helpfull. Sales job was a little intimidating at first since I may know a lot about cars but I knew nothing about car parts but all the staff is supportive and had me ready to sell in a month. Company has great sales bonuses, great company parties, and a nice cafe are for staff with lots of freehealthy snacks and beverages.

Hourly pay (I prefer salary). Sales Specialist do have to work the occasional Saturday. Not enough opportunities for growth amongst entry level positions.

The company offers great benefits and flexible hours to fit a persons life schedule. Great people to work with and free snacks. Fun culture, decent discount on car parts.

Svantaggi

Pay could be better, raises are poor, management is not at the fullest potential. Hard to find parking if arriving to work after 8 am. Auto parts discounts for employees could be improved.

One of the only pros to this organization is that they encourage autonomy. Managers do not like to manage, so they encourage employees to be "self-motivated" so that they (the management team) can have a lower accountability for employees that are poor performers, have continual behavioral issues, or for whom they want to fire after 3 days of employment. Second pro-the company boasts free snacks and drinks in their recruiting initiatives to entice new talent; unfortunately no one in the US takes "snacks" as a currency so free snacks don't tend to satisfy employees looking for a pay raise for good performance.

The pay is not even close to market value. The company does not create opportunities for career development (either internal or external). Managers do not reward high performing or high potential individuals. New ideas or processes are encouraged by management, but then never in-acted. Management is reactive, not proactive. There is a general lack of professionalism with both clients and co-workers. No defined company culture (unless being mediocre, unprofessional and immature is a "culture"). There is no employee recognition program, 401(k) match or tuition aid/reimbursement. The company consistently receives negative feedback from their customers and yet no changes to product quality or customer service has been implemented.
