Vantaggi

The people. Primarily the rank and file caregivers. Dr's and Charges tend to be too egotistical.

Svantaggi

Poor benefits. Worse Medical I have ever had. You get sick hours but can't use them unless you run out of vacation days. Never heard of such a thing. They might as well not bother. In-House Police Force that is second only to the Stormtroopers of Nazi Germany. Constantly being asked to give to this and that. Pay here is below average and still you get panhandled by the staff frequently. Did I mention pay (see above). lowest average among all local health facilities.

Money Insurance Good Boss Good coworkers Enjoyed orientation

Svantaggi

During the orientation, they tell employees that their health is important. As health professionals, our health has to be good so we can take care of our patients and make their health better. However, Methodist Health System makes it extremely hard for an employee if they don’t have enough PTO to be able to get the help they need. So say you don’t have enough PTO but you need a doctors appointment that you have to go to. You’re gonna get a write up and those write ups eventually turn into termination. So where is the grace in the health system? Methodist would be a wonderful place to work if they truly understood their employees are human. I had someone pass away and I couldn’t even go to their funeral because I didn’t have the PTO and couldn’t afford to get a write up. I would’ve loved to have been able to go to my uncle’s funeral. Did anyone care know all you get is sorry for your loss, but you don’t have enough PTO…. So crappy. You’re BEYOND REPLACEABLE and they make sure you know it.
