-Pay scale is not up to par with many positions -Potential for growth is limited due to being an older healthcare system that has not caught up with the times.

Coming from a smaller size hospital but big company like Methodist and known high paying hospital in DFW, I needed more shifts. Since MDMC is bigger than my other PRN, I have higher chance of getting shifts because there are more monitoring stations, more staff taking PTOs, higher chance of staff calling out sick and therefore opening the shift, etc.

More workload and higher census! Almost 50 patients on heart monitor per station.
