Vantaggi
Hours, payrate are the only good things. But that's just me, maybe you don't have the same experiences, or maybe you do. i don't think I'm alone when I say that it's been a disappointment.
Svantaggi
I've scored tests for other companies such as ETS, and Pearson and I thought this place would be similar. There's no real-time review to make sure you're scoring corectly, and you get put on scoring suspension without a heads up first or warning that you're scoring is off. Communication is an issue between scoring leaders and scorers. The training material is a pdf that's 120 pages or so and you're expected to read through it in 8-10 hours and apply what you've read/learned from the sample essays. It's a lot to read through, and given only that amount of time is just not feasible to get comfortable with and the scoring rubric is based on a four by five rubric grid.
