A community action agency is designed to address poverty.

CEO is absent and disconnected from the organization and demonstrates poor judgment and unwillingness to work with staff. There are unclear expectations and poor communication flow between leadership and divisions. Hiring relationship is transactional and void of mission, purpose, excitement to serve. Extremely high turn-over rate through resignations and sporadic terminations at every level. The organization is financially unstable and lacks authentic community engagement to full-fill its mission. Literally the worst place I have ever served. Despite the experience we accomplished good things, but I could never in good conscious recommend this organization for funding or as an employer until the leadership changes and they have a heart to heart with the community.

Staff truly cared for the well-being of clients and staff planning and organization was well-conducted but frequent staff turn-over.

Svantaggi

Staff turnover too frequent and sanitization of incoming baggage should be revamped.

Community service, mission statement is good

Lack of employee support, they recently got rid of the best manager we had that actually showed up to work and guided/ supported our team. Now we are left with 2 bullies that retaliate on us as soon as we report an issue. HR continues to ignore employee complaints. At one point we were all told in a meeting to only address issues with the bully and to stop going to HR. When the bully is the issue what will be fixed?Very toxic , Turn over is high, leaving others with double the workload - new hires don’t get trained because the manager is never physically at work and does not answer the phone when they “work from home”. Emails go ignored.
