Operation Systems are extremely lacking and outdated. Not enough opportunities for feedback between store and distribution center. When it comes to warehouse metrics, the web ordering system can be manipulated very easily. Website requires no form of payment so web orders can become sporadic and chaotic especially towards peak season. Lots of "do it how you see fit" culture rather than a solid SOP to follow. "Every store does it differently". ICCs create their own cycle count schedules which does not allow for store collaboration if items are missing or over. Mindset currently is, report missing items but take the overages and not tell anyone. If you're an honest person, you may feel conflicted.
