"Diversity and Inclusion", "Micron does not tolerate harassment of any kind", you will find this in the Micron Policies and Standard manual for all employees--THIS IS ALL A LIE. Even if you are in middle-management you better hope and pray that you get into a popular group; the culture is worse than high-school. HR is a joke! There are two types of employees at Micron: Worked more than 10+ years and pigeon holed into one department. Great at what they do, but they have been beaten into submission through poor management. They are constantly in fear of losing their job, they don't submit new ideas and they keep under the radar. Worked for Micron less than 10 years, they have a slight glimmer in their eyes of hope for a future with the company. They have been passed up for promotion every year for at least five years and management only sees them when they do something perceived as wrong.

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
