With the shift to the New Micron image under Sanjay I have to say at first I was very excited. They pitched it so well and made it sound like they were really in for their people. Being through that initial phase now I am seeing the reality behind the image being pushed. The Execs care only for the dollar and will take drastic measures to protect it. I have witnessed one site first greatly reduced in technicians and now being completely sold off. If you are looking for job security you may consider the trend of this company investing in its overseas fabs before taking a role at one of the US based sites.
