That means your writing will change depending on who will grab your story for editing. They tolerate disrespectful editors just because they're tenured. The pay isn't equal. At first, you think you're getting a high salary but they pay you according to the country you're from. So, imagine the disparity between US-based reporters versus those in developing countries.
