Vantaggi
Diverse environment and great coworkers. I love Miles' approach to investing in people from all different backgrounds. If you're willing to show you want to learn, they will embrace that. That includes paying for certificates.
The culture is flexible (to a degree) and the environment between your coworkers feels casual. People talk to eachother like people and not in corporate speak.
Svantaggi
There is essentially no training for any department. The culture is “sink or swim,” and while some independence is expected, the volume of information and the expectation to handle it alone is overwhelming. People encourage you to ask for help, but most team members are already drowning in their own workloads and simply don’t have the time. Even highly skilled technicians would struggle.
Workload has grown far faster than pay as the company expands rapidly, leaving many departments feeling crushed. The gap between management and the employees driving the company’s growth seems to be widening. That’s especially discouraging because many of the VPs are genuinely good people.
