QA Leadership is a Bottleneck: The QA function is currently constrained by leadership (Dhananjay) that lacks the professionalism, maturity, and leadership capability expected at this level. Decision-making is inconsistent, team confidence is low, and the overall environment suffers as a result. Favoritism Over Merit: There is a clear and visible shift away from merit-based recognition. Promotions, ratings, and opportunities appear influenced more by internal alignment and favoritism than by actual performance or contribution. This is highly demotivating for serious contributors. HR is Not an Effective Safeguard: HR tagged with QA team does not function as an independent or trustworthy escalation channel.
