There are opportunities to advance. The organizational structure isn't overly tall so having access to people in positions above you isn't very difficult. If you find a way to improve a problem it may take some convincing but it's not difficult to make a positive impact if you think hard about a solution.

The nature of the work makes it difficult to attribute what seems like an endless amount of responsibility to specific roles within the company. This seems like on of the main challenges.
