The main pro is the ability to work remotely

Moburst has every potential to be an amazing place to work, but unfortunately incompetent, selfish, and petty management hinders them from becoming that. Upper management is a disaster which is formed of a small group of people who only look out for each other (like a high school clique). Besides that, they lack organization, professionalism, values, and decency. They spend most of their time gossiping about other employees and they do not take responsibility for their mistakes, but rather look for someone else (below them) to blame. They never recognize employees for good work and only criticize and hold against you any tiny mistake. You can be the perfect employee, but make one small mistake and it will be forever held against you. HR and management do not listen to employee feedback at all and they do not care about employee retention. They see their employees as extremely replaceable so if you are looking for a long term career where you can grow and progress, Moburst is not the place for you. The only pro of this job is that you can work remotely, however, they will use that perk as an excuse not to give yearly raises or compensation.

Dear Employee, First, we are sorry to read about your experience. Moburst management and the HR team are doing their best to create a supportive and positive environment; therefore, we would like to encourage you to share your feedback with us in order for us to better understand your experience, learn from it and grow together. We would like to touch on the point you’ve brought up: - Care for employees - last year all of our employees joined round tables with the founders, and from this year onwards we’re holding them periodically on an ongoing basis; we don’t know if you’ve had a chance to participate in the current round that started on January yet, but a lot of things are coming up on that forum, and we take notes during the call in order to take actions and improve. We also have an “open door” policy; every Monday at 3 PM IL time, you can schedule a call with the founders and share your experience, pain points, ideas etc. - Gossiping - We would love to get some examples of that because this is a serious accusation. We are trying to maintain a positive work environment and culture - we would honestly like to hear more about it, as this is definitely an unwanted behavior that isn’t part of our culture. - Employee recognition and career growth opportunities - we are committed to recognizing and rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication. We offer various avenues for professional development and soft skills development (our L&D program started recently). Moburst has employees who have been working for 5,6,7,8 years now and have made a tremendous impact and growth started as team members and grew into managerial roles, for example, our Group Account Director John: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/begilad_growth-remotework-teambuilding-activity-7161026688712081408-ZoNB?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop - Compensation and benefits - we understand the importance of fair compensation and are doing the yearly evaluations at the end of each year to discuss performance on both sides (the employee provides his feedback and gets feedback). The raises/bonuses depend on the employee and company performance as well - as in every other company in the market. We do believe that providing a remote first working environment (working 4 days/week from home in IL, and fully remote for ROW) is a major benefit these days, combined with the unlimited PTO policy that Moburst has had for 3 years now. Having said that, we appreciate your feedback and are committed to addressing your concerns and invite you to share more information about your experience in order for us to act, improve, and find solutions to your concerns.

I work at Moburst and I can confidently say it’s a great place to be. I regularly work with different departments on client projects, and everyone is supportive, efficient, and willing to pitch in wherever needed. One of the standout features of Moburst is its investment in AI tools and resources – the integration of AI has noticeably increased efficiency for us. It’s great to work at a company that encourages employees to leverage AI. The executive team is approachable and genuinely cares about the company’s culture and success.
