Senior management mistrusts employees off the bat, bi-polar manages - can micromanage to a degree that negatively impacts getting daily work done (decisions made, approvals, etc.) yet infrequent team-focused management, have fired people on the spot based on hearsay information (after initially heavily investing in those employees), and known to belittle and berate employees on a swoop-in basis (likely because they had just had a bad meeting with the venture capital investors).
