There is no middle management so you are always hands on and work in lock step with the owners. They are fair and appreciate input. They are always working so you can always get answers. They believe in a work life balance so they always want you to take time off when needed.

Sometimes in a small company you are wearing every hat. Sometimes you are stretched thin.

Integrity and initiative go a long way in this business, so individuals with a good work ethic who enjoy autonomy will excel with this company. Because sales positions are salary and commission based, the opportunity for a handsome income is by no means out of reach; therefore, this position especially favors individuals with a go-getter mentality! The owners are also quite generous when it comes to taking time off to travel, so long as sales are above average, individual duties and responsibilities are handled, and shifts are adequately and agreeably covered. Overall, this job is interesting and enjoyable, allows for a great work/life balance, and the owners are absolutely wonderful people to work with!

Because of the nature of this industry, meeting customer expectations can be difficult; so, one cannot always expect smooth sailing in customer relations. This can prove to be stressful at times, but it certainly aids in developing "thick skin."
