Svantaggi
Management is pretty ineffective overall. Like others have said, leadership doesn’t understand or care about gym or studio culture. Momence doesn’t even offer its own employees a wellness stipend or reimbursement, which is wild considering this is a wellness company and the entire objective is to sell gym/studio owner its software! That alone says a lot about the company’s priorities.
Sales approach= telemarketing. You will call all day from a list of wildly poorly filtered leads. Reps are expected to sell to gym and studio owners, yet the company refuses to invest in in-person relationship building. That’s a huge miss for this type of business. It feels like leadership either doesn’t understand how this industry works or simply isn’t willing to support the team properly.
Some managers are completely checked out yet remain in leadership. There’s little to no support, no real coaching, and minimal communication. Issues get ignored, and employees don’t feel comfortable speaking up because nothing changes.
Be very cautious about what recruiters and hiring managers tell you. Ask direct questions about lead quality, sales enablement, and how many reps are actually hitting quota. What you’re told in interviews does not match what you’ll experience once you’re in the role. The company lacks structure, transparency, and a clear plan for success.
Avoid unless you’re desperate or just need something short-term.
