Vantaggi

- remote work (this is changing depends on country) -

Svantaggi

- Weak and wildly uninspiring leadership. - All my years in startups this is easily the worst & most uninspiring environment I worked in - No clear targets yet high expectations - Lack of culture (people are not helpful) - Non existent onboarding (you’re left to fend for yourself) - No real strategy on how the company is going to grow - No benefits other than basic pay - Lack of documentation for everything

We appreciate you sharing this honestly. Onboarding, clarity of direction, and leadership quality are areas we've heard about and are working on. We're launching several onboarding initiatives to close these gaps - with particular focus on remote employees who need that structure most. Startup conditions aren't an excuse, and we're committed to getting this right. Thank you for the time you gave to Momos.

Vantaggi

Flexible work arrangements (depends on team)

Svantaggi

Momos comes across as an exciting venture with plenty of talk about vision and ambition, but that’s mostly where it stops. Day-to-day operations reveal uneven treatment: those with personal ties to leadership are given more leeway, while others are held to stricter standards. Advancement feels tied to being part of an ‘in group,’ and for those outside of it, recognition takes far more effort. Leadership frequently speaks about empowering departments, yet decisions are often overturned when convenient, with accountability pushed downward. On the flip side, when difficult choices arise, they’re quickly delegated under the label of autonomy. Despite promoting a people-first culture, the support offered to staff is bare minimum—whether in benefits, insurance, or team activities. Turnover is significant, and it’s telling that many who left shared the same sentiment: relief at moving on.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. We'd like to offer some context - nearly 35% of our employees have stayed with Momos for over 3 years. For a startup just past its 5-year mark, we know that's not exceptional, but it's something we're genuinely proud of and continue to work toward improving. The concerns around fairness, recognition, and staff support are real and we're actively addressing them. We know trust is built through consistent actions, not just stated values. We genuinely wish you well in what comes next.
