They work hard and truly care about their clients and candidates.

The day you sign your offer letter, you sign your life over to Mondo. If you want 0 work life balance, 12+ hour work days and weekends, declined vacation days by upper management, and to be verbally abused daily then this is the place for you! In 2 years, I had gone from a Technical Recruiter to the Recruiting Manager of the Philadelphia office at Mondo. In that time, the amount of verbal and mental abuse that I took and saw my coworkers take from upper management was DISGUSTING. In my time at this company, I have had management call me and my team members horrible names, talk badly about my family, reach out to my family personally if I wasn’t answering, and curse at me daily. The saddest part was that the strong person I had always been had disappeared all for a paycheck. After working abnormal work days, answering emails at 4:30am up until 10:30pm, being interrupted during family occasions, leaving the dinner table countless times to answer calls, and being humiliated daily, I finally realized that my dignity was no longer for sale. The micromanaging in this office is insane. I found myself forgetting I was a grown adult and having to explain to my Manager that I was going to the bathroom when asking why I took so long to respond to a gchat. If you are hungry during lunch, forget about it. You are not able to take a lunch break without getting texts from management asking where you are. I hope you never plan on getting sick because if you do, you will be asked for a doctor’s note or told to “suck it up” by upper management. Does the unlimited PTO sound too good to be true? That’s because it is. Don’t forget that it is under the managers discretion. If the manager doesn’t think you deserve a vacation or your reasoning isn’t good enough it is declined. If you are thinking about going to HR about any harassment in the work place forget about that as well. When having my exit interview, I let HR know not only about how I was treated, but how the existing team was still being treated and NOTHING was done (ATTENTION HR!!!-please DO NOT comment that Managers here strive to be upfront with their expectations and hold employee accountable). Last, I checked cursing at your employees, calling them names, and verbally harrasing them is not holding people accountable. It is abuse. Can you imagine? Being verbally abused daily and telling HR yet the people that inflicted and are still inflicting this in the work place are still employed and running the company? In conclusion, the only positive I can say in regard to working at Mondo was that you can’t put a price on your happiness. Don’t ever be afraid to leave a hostile work environment. If you are good at what you do, you can make money wherever you go in a respectable workplace all while being treated like an actual human being. If you are still considering this company please re-think your decision. Leaving was the best one I've ever made!
